Fulfillment of surveying equipments for training of students and research purpose is one of the work packages in EduLAND2 project. Accordingly, donation of high precise Leica surveying equipments like Total Station and RTK Gps has been launched in January 2017.

It is not only the delivery of the surveying equipments carried out but also tailor-made raining program was set and delivered to ILA/DMU staff for five consecutive days. The focus of the training was on understanding the different components of these modern surveying equipments and on how to manipulate and manage of these equipments. The training was delivered by Daniel Abebe (from Joshansen office in Addis).
